TAIPEI, TAIWAN, Jul. 31, 2020 –Chunghwa Telecom held “5G Industry Development Alliance-Chunghwa Pilot Team 2020 Annual Conference” in which over 60 institutes and 2 hundred representatives took part. WASAI Technology also represents as a member of Chunghwa Telecom 5G accelerator, presenting the high performance application for 5G big data computing.
With the advancement of 5G technology, multiple innovative applications are going to be developed, for example, smart medicine, smart manufacturing, smart cities, and so on. In the next decade, the amount of data will reach up to the level of zettabytes. The distinctions of data types will be more detailed and the huge amount of data will also bring more challenges along with the values.
X as a service
Along with the development, the new type of service comes along: “X as a service” means everything can be as a service. From the product platform to its infrastructure, all can be provided as services. WASAI technology uses the novelty designed FPGA to focus on the specific fields to process data computing with high performance. It is to build up a brand new acceleration platform, from the hardware infrastructure to the upper level application.
With the development of 5G, the world is expecting the combination between 5G and IoT/AI to bring more personalized services. WASAI Technology as a member of Chunghwa 5G accelerator, aiming to applying FPGA to the big data industry, helping the industry to do digital transformation and glamouring the value of big data.
